How to complete your App Publishing Info in the Control Panel
Fill out your publishing details for iOS, Android, and PWA so your app can be submitted for review.
Your App Publishing Info is where you enter the store listing and account details needed to submit your app to Apple and Google. If anything is missing or inaccurate, publishing can’t move forward or may get delayed during review.
Requirements

Your Apple Developer and Google Play Developer accounts are created

Your App Store Connect API is set up

Your Firebase certificates are uploaded

Your app icons are uploaded for both iOS and Android and meet store requirements
How to complete your App Publishing Info in the Control Panel

Log in to your Control Panel.

Go to Settings, then click App Publishing Info.

Enter your contact information:

Full Name

Phone Number

Primary Email

Developer Name (this appears in the app stores)

Copyright (typically your developer name and the current year)

Choose where you want to publish your app:

If publishing to iOS, enter your Apple details and App Store listing info:

Make sure Buildfire has access to publish for iOS.

Add us as an App Admin in your Apple Developer account using the email shown in the Publishing Info section in the Control Panel.

If publishing to Android, complete your Google Play listing info:

Play Store Title

Play Store Description

Use clear, keyword-friendly language and do not copy your Short Description word-for-word.

Short Description

Keep it punchy and distinct from your full description.

Content Rating

Miscellaneous Questions (ads, in-app purchases, sensitive content, and other listing requirements)

(Optional) Upload a document in Optional Documents to prove ownership if your app is denied and you need to appeal.

Review all fields for accuracy, including titles, descriptions, URLs, categories, and ratings.

Click Publish to submit your app for review.
Troubleshooting tips

Publish is blocked or you can’t proceed: Confirm your developer accounts, App Store Connect API, Firebase certificates, and icons are completed.

App gets rejected for metadata: Re-check titles, descriptions, and content rating answers for accuracy and completeness.

Android listing rejected for description issues: Make sure the Short Description and full description are meaningfully different.

iOS publishing access issues: Confirm Buildfire is added as an App Admin in your Apple Developer account using the email shown in the Control Panel.
