# How to renew your Apple Developer account

## Make sure your app stays live by renewing your Apple Developer Program membership each year.

Apple Developer memberships must be renewed annually to keep your iOS app live in the App Store. Here’s how to make sure your membership stays active.

### **Requirements**

- Access to your Apple Developer account
- You must log in as the **Account Holder** (the person who originally created the account)

### **How to renew your Apple Developer account**

1. Go to[developer.apple.com](https://developer.apple.com/) and log in
2. If your account is due for renewal, you’ll see a message at the top of the screen
3. Click the **Renew Membership** button
4. Follow the prompts to accept any updated agreements if required
5. Complete the payment process to renew your membership

- Turn on **Auto-Renewal** in your Apple Developer account settings to avoid service interruptions
- Use a reliable, monitored email for the Account Holder to ensure renewal notices are seen
