# How to use the YouCanBook.me plugin

## Embed your YouCanBook.me scheduling page in your app so users can book appointments without leaving the app.

The YouCanBook.me plugin lets you connect your YouCanBook.me scheduling page directly to your Buildfire app. This allows users to view availability, select time slots, and book appointments inside the app using the same calendar and rules configured on your YouCanBook.me account.

### **Requirements**

- This is a Boost plugin, available on the Standard, Growth, and Business plans
- Requires an active YouCanBook.me account and scheduling page

### **How to use the YouCanBook.me plugin**

1. Log in, go to **Builder** in the left navigation
2. Click the **+** button to open the Plugin Marketplace

     - Search for YouCanBook.me, then click **Add Plugin**
     - Name your plugin and choose whether to add it to the side menu, then click **Add**
3. Stay in the **Content** tab

     - Copy your scheduling link from YouCanBook.me

           1. Log in to your YouCanBook.me account
           2. Go to your profile or scheduling page
           3. Copy your booking page URL
     - Paste and validate your booking link

           1. Paste the URL into the link field in the Buildfire control panel
           2. Click **Validate** to confirm the link is valid
4. To test it out, in the App Preview:

     - The embedded view matches your YouCanBook.me scheduling page
     - Users can view available dates, time slots, and appointment durations
     - Users can select a time, enter their details, and confirm the booking directly in the app
5. Click the **Security** tab:

     - Turn on **Require Login** to restrict booking access to logged-in users
     - (Optional) Add tag-based restrictions and choose whether to match any or all tags
6. Click the **Tagging** tab:

     - Enter a tag name to automatically apply to users when they open this feature
     - Click **Add Tag**
7. Click the **Purchase** tab:

     - Check **Require Purchase** to enable
     - Choose your product type (e.g., Single Purchase or Subscription)
     - Upload an image, fill out purchase text, and success/failure messages
8. Click the **Analytics** tab to see feature performance:

     - Track feature opens and user engagement over time

### **Pro tips**

- Keep your availability and booking rules updated in YouCanBook.me, as changes sync automatically
- Test booking flows on a mobile device to confirm time selection and form fields display correctly
- Use Require Login if bookings should only be available to registered users
